1- Ceramic Tile: usually  made of red or white clay and finished with a glaze. It’s porous composition makes it easier to cut and more vulnerable to fade and chipping.

2- Porcelain tiles: are made by the dust pressed technique that results in a denser and more durable surface than the ceramic tile. Under this category you can find rectified porcelain tile which means each corner of the tile is perfectly squared to achieve a closer installation for less visible grout joints.

3- Carpet: the perfect option for soft, warm and cozy flooring. There are about nine different styles of carpets where you can find a variety of textures, shapes or even patterns.
– Velvet or plush.       – Saxony
– Berber.                    – Frieze
– Shag.                       – Level loop.
– Multi level loop.       – Tip Sheared.
– Random Sheared.

4- Laminate: One of the most popular surfaces in the last 10 years due to its looks, installation process and attractive prices in comparison with Hardwood floors. This material is made by fusing four layers ( top layer, design layer, high density fiber board layer HDF & backing layer) resulting in a very realistic simulation of wood flooring or even natural stone look.

5- Hardwood: This is the best option for bringing nature inside your home. There are two types of hardwood flooring; solid plank, which come in different lengths depending on the circumference of the tree it was made from and engineered flooring, that combines different layers of wood with a top decorative layer to create a full plank. Hardwood floors have an extended selection of colors, textures and even different grades of maintenance, giving you the option to choose the perfect floor for the right space.

6- Polish concrete: Growing rapidly due to low maintenance and long lasting finish, it’s  probably the greenest option for flooring surface because its made by polishing existing concrete slab. Whether its a mechanical polish or grind and seal process, it can give you 60 plus years if properly maintained.

7- Epoxy coating: Typically used on concrete to give resistance to water. Two resins are mixed simultaneously before application and when the epoxy is cured, you have the final product. Common uses are industrial basis but also residential garages surfaces for easy maintenance.

8- Vinyl: frequently chosen for high traffic areas because its low cost and durability. Modern products simulate natural stone, tiles and even wood planks. Usually used on commercial buildings but lately attractive for pet owners because of its water and impact resistant properties.
